Trump wins Louisiana
Former President Trump has won Louisiana in the 2024 presidential race, according to a projection from Decision Desk HQ.
Trump's win nets him eight electoral votes. In 2016, Trump won 58.5 percent of the Pelican State’s vote, and went on to win a similar percentage in 2020.
The last time Louisiana voted for a Democratic president was for President Clinton in 1996.
