Zane Trace boys powerlifting places third at state meet; Johnson earns champion
Zane Trace made some history this past weekend.
The boys' powerlifting team not only placed third at the 37th annual Bill McClain Ohio High School State Powerlifting meet at Kenton High School — the first Zane Trace team to ever place at the meet — but they also had an individual champion.
Brice Johnson won the 225-pound weight class with a total of 1,390 pounds. He squatted 580 pounds, deadlifted 490 pounds, and bench-pressed 320 pounds.
