Coming off arguably their biggest series win of the 2025 SEC baseball season up to this point, the Alabama Crimson Tide are back on the rise in the latest update of the USA TODAY Sports College Baseball Coaches Poll on Monday.
On Monday, the Crimson Tide jumped a total of three spots up from No. 11 to No. 8, rising into the Top 10 for what is the first time this season. Beginning the season unranked, this is Alabama's highest ranking so far this season.
This past week, Alabama played a total of four games from Tuesday through Sunday, the first of which was a win in Huntsville over North Alabama in which the Crimson Tide won 4-3 following a walk-off single from shortstop Justin Lebron.
During the weekend, the Crimson Tide then hosted a No. 9 ranked Oklahoma team inside Sewell-Thomas Stadium, with Alabama going on to take two-of-three from the Sooners. This included an 8-6 win in Game 1, a 6-5 loss during Game 2, and finally, an 8-6 victory in a Game 3 rubber-match Sunday.
With these results, Alabama now owns a 25-4 overall record this season, as well as a 6-3 mark in SEC play. The next game for the Crimson Tide will come Tuesday night against Samford in Tuscaloosa, and will be followed by a three-game series at No. 17 Auburn in SEC action this upcoming weekend.
