The 2025 college baseball season enters Week 8. Tennessee (26-2, 8-1 SEC) is ranked No. 1 nationally for a sixth consecutive week in the USA TODAY Sports Coaches Poll.
The Vols won their third SEC series last week and also recorded a second series sweep in league play. Tennessee completed a three-game series sweep at South Carolina and defeated Queens in nonconference play for a 4-0 record last week.
Tennessee will return to action Tuesday for an in-state matchup against Tennessee Tech. First pitch is slated for 6 p.m. EDT and can be watched on SEC Network+
The Vols will also host preseason No. 1 ranked Texas A&M, Friday-Sunday, at Lindsey Nelson Stadium. The series opener on Friday is slated for 7 p.m. EDT (ESPNU), while Saturday’s game No. 2 will take place at 6 p.m. EDT (SEC Network+). First pitch for Sunday’s series finale between the Vols and Aggies is scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT and will be televised by ESPN2.
