The transfer portal is heating up with the spring transfer window set to open on Wednesday. Take a look at what you may have missed this week in the transfer portal.

STANFORD DEFENSIVE BACK RETURNING TO THE PORTAL

The fallout from Stanford’s firing of former head coach Troy Taylor continued with the announcement from incoming transfer Julian Neal that he would be re-entering the transfer portal. The former Fresno State standout transferred to Stanford in December after a strong three-year stint with the Bulldogs.

This past season he posted four pass breakups, two interceptions and allowed just one touchdown on 330 coverage snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.

FORMER BIG TEN, SEC LINEBACKER RE-ENTERING THE PORTAL

Missouri’s No. 4 overall transfer class took a hit on Thursday when linebacker Mikai Gbayor announced he would be leaving the Tigers. This is the second time he is transferring this offseason. Gbayor transferred from Nebraska to Missouri in December. Keep an eye on North Carolina while Gbayor weighs his transfer options.
