Vote for the FP&L Athlete of the Week for March 17-22

Chloe Bailey is the latest Florida Power & Light Athlete of the Week following her stellar opening few weeks for the 6-2 Eagles.

Missing barrels and producing swings and misses, Bailey has a 0.68 ERA with a 5-1 record and 75 strikeouts over 41 innings. Batters are hitting just .141 against her with a .207 on-base percentage.

Up for the vote this week is a fresh crop of athletes amid a quiet Spring Break. They'll vie to join an eclectic crop of past winners that includes Deacon Avery, Kase Armstrong, Dante Core, Izzy Harter, Carter Marracco, Belicia O'Grady, Carlos Ottoni, Carnley Summerlin, Ana Colon, Donovan Dark, Eddie Love Jr., Kane Lafortune, Justus Donahoo, Fred Libby, Camrin Pearson, Michelle Melancon, James Opitz, Hunter Tarchalski, Evelyn Brandman and Dylan Louthain.

Voting runs through 2 p.m. Friday. Vote now, vote often.

Athlete of the Week Nominees

Jordan Figueroa, Choctaw: In wins over Navarre and crosstown rival Fort Walton Beach for the Big Green, Figueroa went a collective 3-for-5 with 5 RBI, two runs, two walks and a stolen base.

Brady Martin, Niceville: In a 10-1 win over South Lake, Martin struck out 10 and allowed just one one run on five hits for the 14-3 Eagles.

Nathan Whitney, South Walton: Whitney went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI, a double and a stolen base in a 10-0 victory over Berryhill.
