A video of Colorado Buffaloes coach Deion Sanders overruling instruction from a Denver Broncos employee went viral over the weekend.
In the video, a Broncos staffer -- presumably a scout or an assistant coach -- appeared to be showing Colorado players how to leave their stance for a 40-yard dash.
Sanders then approached and said, "Y'all start how y'all gonna start. This man here ... do ya'll thing, all right? Do what ya'll do."
An aggregator re-shared the video and that post is closing in on three million views. Football fans have had mixed reactions to the incident.
"That’s real," one fan commented. "You’re affecting players mechanics. Specifically during a critical moment."

"His players opinion of the situation is all that matters and they seemed to agree with their coach," another fan noted.
Others pushed back on Sanders' approach.
"Buddy was telling them to hold the start like all scouts do," one fan chimed in.
"Definitely could have handled that differently!" Ricky Story Jr. wrote. "I understand what he was trying to say, instead of listening to foreign instruction the day of, trust your prep up to this moment. Definitely embarrassing and disrespectful to the scout that was just trying to help kids."
The reactions from players were a big hit.
"Herms face has me dying, then peep Bentley looking over. 😂😂😂," one fan commented.
Colorado has two of the top prospects in this year's draft in cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter and quarterback Shedeur Sanders (Deion's son).
The 2025 NFL draft will be held in Wisconsin from April 24-26. The Broncos hold seven picks.
