The Oklahoma City Thunder have clinched the first seed. Not surprising considering they've held a double-digit game lead in the standings for most of the season.

The Thunder welcomed back Josh Giddey with a 145-117 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday. They're now 28-1 against the East, which is the best cross-conference record in NBA history.

Only two weeks remain in the 2024-25 regular season. Even though the Thunder aren't involved, plenty of heated races for seeding have ramped up as the margin for error gets thinner. Thunder Wire will conduct daily updates on the West's standings until the season ends:

What happened last night?

Pacers 111, Kings 109: It was another frustrating loss for the Kings. The Pacers mounted a second-half comeback to get the best of Sacramento. DeMar DeRozan had 31 points and Domantas Sabonis had a monster 25-point, 16-rebound double-double.

Clippers 96, Magic 87: It shouldn't be a shocker to see a low-scoring affair between two of the best defenses. The trio of Kawhi Leonard, James Harden and Norman Powell each scored 20-plus points to lead LA to another win. It remains one of the hottest teams.

Celtics 117, Grizzlies 103: Firing Taylor Jenkins hasn't been the sparkplug the Grizzlies hoped for. They've lost both games since the shocking departure. Ja Morant had 26 points but Memphis continues to fall apart near the regular season's finish line.

Thunder 145, Bulls 117: Josh Giddey's return to OKC was spoiled. The Thunder destroyed the Bulls in a game where they led by as many as 43 points. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had a modest 27 points and 12 rebounds as he sat out another fourth quarter.

Nets 113, Mavericks 109: Bad losses are magnified this time of the year. With their postseason hopes still alive, the Mavericks finally lost their first game with Anthony Davis. He only had 12 points as a tanking Nets served the upset.

Lakers 104, Rockets 98: A low-scoring contest is exactly the type of game the Rockets wanted against the Lakers. Nonetheless, that wasn't enough to get a signature win. It was Luka Doncic and role players who stepped up for Los Angeles. Dorian Finney-Smith and Gabe Vincent each scored 20 points off the bench.
