The Tennessee Titans have canceled a private workout with quarterback and NFL draft prospect Shedeur Sanders, according to a report from Titans team writer Jim Wyatt.
The Titans have the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft, which starts April 24.
In a post on X, Wyatt stated the team canceled the private workout after a meeting between Sanders' camp and the team, saying "the Titans have seen 4 years of game film, scouted multiple games, and now attended a Pro Day they described as very impressive."
The team met with Sanders and his representatives on March 10, just before the opening of NFL free agency.
Sanders is considered a top quarterback prospect in the NFL draft, along with Miami's Cam Ward. Sanders threw for 4,134 yards and 37 touchdowns in 13 games for the Buffaloes in 2024.
Sanders spent his first two years at Jackson State before transferring to Colorado in 2023. His father, Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders, coached Sanders for all four of his college seasons at Jackson State and Colorado.
