On Friday, the University of Colorado held its annual pro day. That allowed standout quarterback Shedeur Sanders and Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter to put on a final scripted show before interested NFL teams.
The Tennessee Titans were well represented, led by president of football operations Chad Brinker and general manager Mike Borgonzi. According to a report by Jim Wyatt, those in attendance were very impressed by what they saw.
After yesterday’s Colorado Pro Day, @Titans brass met with Shedeur Sanders’ camp and the parties have agreed to cancel the upcoming private workout.

The Titans have seen 4 years of game film, scouted multiple games, and now attended a Pro Day they described as very impressive.
Wyatt reported that after the workout, the Titans and Sanders’ camp met and agreed to cancel the private workout previously scheduled for April 9.
While this move may surprise some, it may not surprise those close to the decision-makers. Tennessee has done extensive work scouting Sanders over his career. Not only have they watched every throw on tape, their scouting department has attended multiple games, and the new front office has spoken with him numerous times.
The move could also signal that the Titans are close to finalizing their draft board and know their direction with the No. 1 pick. Entering the workout, many believed Miami quarterback Cam Ward was ticketed to be the pick. Whether this workout or decision moves the needle is yet to be seen.
