Struggling Real Madrid star opens up about doubtful future – ‘I still believe’
Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler remains confident that he will eventually establish himself as a key player at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Despite facing limited opportunities under Carlo Ancelotti, the young Turkish talent is determined to prove his worth and carve out a place for himself in the squad.
So far, Guler’s minutes on the pitch have been scarce, and when he has featured, it has often been in the final moments of games.
His role in the team remains marginal, but that has not deterred him from staying focused on his objectives. He understands the challenges ahead and is prepared to work hard to change his situation before the season ends.
Fighting for the titles
After enjoying success with the Turkish national team, where he recently scored, Guler is now shifting his attention back to club football.
He knows that at Real Madrid, the goal is always to fight for every trophy, and he is eager to contribute to the team’s ambitions.
The competition within the squad is fierce, but he remains undeterred, believing in his ability to make an impact when given the chance.
“Madrid always fights to win every game and every title. We are ready to fight for the three titles, it will be exciting. I only think about playing every game and helping my team win all the titles,” he told MARCA.
Addressing rumours
There has been a great deal of speculation about Guler’s future, with reports suggesting he could leave on loan or even permanently in the next transfer window.
However, he has no intention of departing just yet. He remains committed to the club’s long-term plan for him and is convinced that he will succeed in Madrid.
“Madrid gave me a plan and I still believe in it. I’m sure I’ll succeed at Real Madrid, I’ve even bought a house in Madrid. I work very hard and I’m always ready to play.”
He loves the club
Real Madrid fan have shown their support whenever Guler has taken to the pitch, and he deeply appreciates their encouragement.
He is aware that supporters want to see him succeed and hopes to repay their faith by making significant contributions in the near future.
“I love Real Madrid fans, and their support means a lot to me. I’m very grateful.
“I came to Real Madrid to play and be an important part of this team. And I won’t stop fighting until I achieve that,” he added.
For Guler, giving up is not an option. His focus is on making the most of every opportunity, helping his team compete for titles, and cementing his place in Real Madrid’s future.
