Here's who won the Stark County Athlete of the Week, which honors a county boy and girl high school athlete throughout the school year.
Athletes from Lake Center Christian and Perry high schools won the voting for the Stark County High School Athlete of the Week.
Gianna Ritchie of Lake Center is the girls winner and Preston Dazey of Perry wins for the boys. Ritchie, who runs indoor track, received 50.67% of the votes cast. Dazey, a basketball player, received 53.32% of the votes cast.
A total of 79,634 votes were cast overall.

Gianna Ritchie, Lake Center Christian track and field
Won the Division IV state title in the girls 800 meters in 2:17.51 at the OATCCC indoor state meet held recently at Spire Academy in Geneva.
Preston Dazey, Perry basketball
Scored 18 points and helped Perry dominate the glass in a 66-63 win over North Royalton in a Division II state semifinal, sending the Panthers to the state championship game Friday.
