This week's candidates are listed below:

Donte Castro, baseball, West Creek: Went 2-for-4 with a double, four RBIs, two stolen bases and three runs in a 13-2 win at Jo Byrns.

Ryder Forrester, baseball, Houston County: Batted .444 for the week with four hits, two doubles, two RBIs and three runs.

Jayden Gaylor, baseball, Rossview: Pitched 6⅓ shutout innings of relief in a 6-3 win at Mt. Juliet. Gave up three hits and struck out eight to get the win. Got the save with two scoreless innings, giving up one hit and striking out four, in a 4-3 win at Clarksville Academy.

Brennen Gibson, baseball, Clarksville Academy: Went 2-for-3 with an RBI, three runs and four stolen bases in a 7-3 win over Beech.

Benn Hendricks Jr., baseball, Stewart County: Pitched four innings, giving up three hits and no earned runs while striking out three, in a 13-3 win over Houston County. Drove in five runs at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double. Also finished 2-for-4 with five RBIs and a stolen base in a 14-1 win over the Irish.

Kaydin Mendibles, baseball, Northeast: Was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs in an 8-7 loss to Morristown East.

Gavin Rogers, baseball, Kirkwood: Went 3-for-3 with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs in a 16-9 loss to Providence Academy.

Braden Taylor, baseball, Clarksville: Threw a no-hitter over five innings, striking out seven and walking one, in an 11-0 win over Niceville (Florida).
