Sky Sports have put out a report with five strikers named on Chelsea’s shortlist but the moves depend on one thing.
This news comes off the back of Chelsea beating Legia Warsaw 3-0 away from home in the first leg of the Conference League quarter finals on Thursday night in Poland to pretty much set them up for a place in the semi finals of the competition.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea ARE looking to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and have world class name on the table!! 👀
Chelsea were awful in the first half but superb in the second half after what you feel would have been some harsh words from boss Enzo Maresca. The Italian went on to admit to ‘falling in love’ with one of his players after the game due to his incredible performance.
And it was an incredible night to remember for another academy gem as well with Tyrique George grabbing his first ever senior goal for his boyhood club. What a moment.
Attentions will soon turn to the summer transfer market as the season draws to a close soon, and Chelsea are going to be a busy club again in this coming window.
According to Sky Sports, there are five strikers that the club are looking at and they will sign a new striker this summer.
Targets named
Sky report that Chelsea will sign a striker this summer and Ipswich forward Liam Delap is one of the names under serious consideration.
As well as Delap, Chelsea are interested in RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko, Lille’s Jonathan David and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Hugo Ekitike.
Victor Osimhen of Napoli is also still being monitored apparently.
The kind of target they land could depend on where they finish the season. Sky go on to say that Chelsea’s sole focus at the moment is qualifying for the Champions League and finishing in the top five will improve their chances of signing the goalscorer they need to strengthen their squad.
