The Philadelphia 76ers have six games left in the 2024-25 season as they inch closer and closer to the finish line. It has been a miserable season filled with injuries and some underperforming players as they try and get through the season.
Tyrese Maxey is the latest player to be ruled out for the season with an injury. He has not played since March 3 when he did suffer a lower back sprain, but he also was dealing with a right finger sprain that was bothering him.
While the back is fine now, the finger is still a big issue. Coach Nick Nurse stated that there was hope that Maxey would return in the final games, but that will not be the case. The All-Star guard has worked hard in order to try and push himself for a return, but he is now expected to be ruled out for the final games of the season.
