Savannah James Sends 9-Word Message After Major Bronny James News

Los Angeles Lakers guard Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, is amid his best stretch as a professional basketball player. Scoring an NBA career-high 17 points in Thursday's game against the Milwaukee Bucks, James followed that with 39 points in a G League game on Monday.

Sent down to the South Bay Lakers ahead of LA's four-game road trip, James started against the Santa Cruz Warriors on Monday at UCLA Health Training Center in El Segundo, California. In addition to his career-high 39 points, James tallied seven rebounds, four assists, four steals and one block in the 122-118 win.

The former USC guard sent a strong message after the game when asked what he is proving with his recent play.

"I belong out here,” James told Timothy Parker of Spectrum LA. “That's all I'm trying to prove. A lot of people say that I don’t. So I just come out and work every day, try to get better every day, and prove myself every day."

Reacting to the major news of her son scoring a career-high, Savannah James reposted his message on Instagram with strong words of her own.

"Say it louder for the people in the back," she wrote.
