Bucks Star Damian Lillard Sends Clear Message on Concerning News
The Milwaukee Bucks are in the midst of an important stretch of their season where they want to be in the best position when the postseason arrives. They currently have the No. 5 seed in the Eastern Conference with a 40-31 record, and they have a chance to either rise in the standings or fall with a few games remaining in the regular season.
Things may be harder for the Bucks now as they just received some devasting news about Damian Lillard, who was diagnosed with a blood clot in his right calf. He will be out indefinitely, and it's not certain if he will return when it's time for the Bucks to start the postseason.
NBA insider Chris Haynes spoke with Lillard about his diagnosis, and he shared his reaction on social media.

"It’s unfortunate that something outside of my control would come up," Lillard said. "Along with the Bucks’ medical staff, our priorities are to protect my health and safety. As much as I love basketball, I need to be there for my kids and my family. I’m grateful the Bucks acted quickly on this. They’ve been supportive and proactive throughout this process. I look forward to moving past this and continuing my career.”
The most important thing for Lillard is to get healthy at this point because a diagnosis like that is career-threatening.
