The Los Angeles Rams' international marketing rights will expand in 2025, the NFL announced Monday.
The Rams were one of three teams given the right to add the United Arab Emirates to its global market portfolio. The San Francisco 49ers and Washington Commanders were the other two clubs.
According to the NFL, teams can "brand awareness and fandom beyond the U.S., through fan engagement, events, commercial opportunities and NFL Flag development" as part of the Global Market Rights program.
"The expansion of the Global Markets Program in 2025 reflects the NFL's continued focus to grow the game and connect with fans on a global scale," Peter O'Reilly, NFL executive vice president, club business, major events and international, said via NFL.com. "With more clubs entering the program and existing clubs adding to their global rights, and as the program expands to new markets, we are seeing strong momentum and impact in growing fandom worldwide together."
The Rams' existing international marketing rights include Australia, China, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, New Zealand. The Rams will also play the NFL's first game in Australia in 2026 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. L.A.'s opponent, as well as the date and time, will be announced at another time.
