We are getting closer to the boy's weightlifting state championships in Polk County, and this past weekend, several athletes competed in the regional competitions. Many have already qualified at previous meets, while others aim to perform well and secure a spot at state.
In our area, North Bay Haven secured the Class 1A Region 1 Olympic title and finished third in the traditional lifts.
