Monday practice round suspended at 2025 Masters due to weather, fans told to evacuate

Rain, rain, go away.

Due to inclement weather conditions, Augusta National Golf Club was forced to suspend Monday’s practice round and evacuate the grounds at 11:25 a.m., the club announced late Monday morning.

Further updates will be provided and shared on Masters.com once available.

The forecast for the rest of the week looks better than Monday, with rain and storms expected throughout much of the afternoon Monday at Augusta National.

On Sunday night, the tournament initially said gates would be closed to patrons for the morning with expected weather, but fans did in fact get on the grounds for a while Monday morning.

However, with rain expected for the remainder of Monday, it's unclear whether any more golf will be played.
