Michigan State football has extended an offer to an intriguing defensive lineman prospect from Ohio State's backyard.
Reinaldo Perez of Columbus, Ohio announced on Friday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Perez made the announcement via a post on social media platform X.
Perez is an unranked defensive lineman in the 2027 class. He is listed at 6-foot-5 and 225 pounds, and plays for Columbus Academy.
Michigan State is one of nearly 10 programs to extend an offer to Perez so far in his recruitment, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Tennessee, Purdue, Bowling Green, Buffalo and UMass.
