Spartans offers Texas 2026 DL prospect with numerous power four offers

Michigan State football has extended an offer to a Texas defensive lineman with plenty of power conference interest.

Christopher Knauls of Frisco, Texas announced on Wednesday that he has received an offer from the Spartans. Knauls made the offer from the Spartans known by posting on his social media X account.

Knauls is an unranked defensive lineman in the 2026 class, according to 247Sports. He plays for Lone Star High, and is listed at 6-foot-4 and 250 pounds.

Michigan State is one of nearly 20 schools to extend an offer to Knauls, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Oklahoma State, Boise State, Cal, Colorado, Houston, Indiana, New Mexico, Rice, San Diego State, Texas State, Texas Tech, Tulane, Tulsa, UNLV, Utah, Grambling State and Dartmouth.
