Key games for Grizzlies in NBA playoff race tonight as Memphis slips into NBA Play-In

The Grizzlies have a chance to end their four-game losing streak when they face the Heat in Miami on Thursday night.

Memphis is in desperate need of a win with six regular-season games to play. The Grizzlies have fallen into the NBA Play-in during their recent stretch, which included firing coach Taylor Jenkins less than a week ago. Memphis enters Thursday night with the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference because of a tiebreaker with the Wolves and Clippers, who are all tied for the No. 6 spot.

Only the top six teams advance directly to the playoffs.
