Another member from the 2024-25 Michigan State hockey team has signed a professional contract.
Spartans defenseman Nicklas Andrews has reportedly signed with the Toledo Walleye of the ECHL. Nathaniel Bott of the Lansing State Journal reported on Andrews' signing on Monday evening.
Andrews transferred to Michigan State ahead of this past season and had a successful campaign with the Spartans. He led the team in plus-minus with a plus-28 mark. He also recorded two goals and 16 assists during his 37 games.
Andrews is originally from Canton, Mich. and played his first four seasons with Colorado College before coming to Michigan State as a grad transfer.

Andrews spent this past season with the Spartans as a grad transfer and had two goals, 16 assists, and led the team at +28 in 37 games.
