Drew Lock, who spent the 2024 season with the New York Giants, has found a new home for 2025 − sort of.
The veteran quarterback, who played in eight games for the Giants (starting five of them) during a lost season, is returning to the Seattle Seahawks, according to reports.
Lock was a member of the Seahawks during the 2022-23 seasons. The former Missouri star was selected by the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He spent three seasons in Denver before being traded to Seattle.
Following the release of Giants starter Daniel Jones (and Tommy DeVito starting one game), Lock was named starter in Week 13 for the Giants' Thanksgiving Day game in Dallas against the Cowboys. His best game with the Giants came in Week 17, a he threw four TD passes and rushed for another in a 45-33 victory over the Indianapolis Colts at MetLife Stadium.
Overall with the Giants in 2024, Lock threw six touchdowns and five interceptions.
