Flat Rock's Junge honored as Michigan Sportswriters All-Stater

Graham Junge of Flat Rock started out fast with three pointers over Adrian in the Division 2 regional semi-final at Milan High School Tuesday, March 4, 2025 as Adrian won 53-43.

Re-writing the record book: Set school records for 3-pointers in a season (78), career 3-pointers (259), career points (1,531), points in a game (47), 3-pointers in a game (14), points in a quarter (24).

What his coach, Rick Smith, said: “Graham by far is the best player I have coached in my 35 years as a varsity coach. We’ve all seen the incredible numbers he has put up during his four-year varsity career, but what I see every day is what a great teammate he is and how unselfish he is, too. Winning for Graham is more important than individual achievements.”

What Ida coach Jared Karner said: “No doubt the best player we saw all year.  A special player who knocked down shots with multiple defenders guarding him tightly.”

What Jefferson coach Corey Wiley said: “An absolute long-range sniper and has elite poise.”

What Airport coach Jason Ruhlig said: “His balance between stepping up and needing to score when he had to along with his willingness and knack to feed his teammates when teams would double him made him an excellent player.”
