ESPN suggests scenario where Jets could consider Breece Hall trade

Breece Hall has been a staple in the New York Jets' backfield in recent years but a suggestion that could change that has been made.

Following the NFL owners meetings, ESPN made note of comments made by Jets head coach Aaron Glenn regarding the running back position. Because of those, the idea of trading Hall was made and it relates to the 2025 NFL draft as well.

ESPN noted:

Hall is a gifted player who would attract interest if dangled in trade talks. Perhaps the Jets would consider moving him if Boise State star Ashton Jeanty is available with the seventh pick in the April 24 draft.

The suggestion comes following Glenn referencing the usage of a potential running back by committee approach that could come to the Jets offense next season. While Tanner Engstrand is New York's offensive coordinator, Glenn assured he'll have a part in the team's game plan across the roster, not just on the defense.

"I think, mentally, [Hall] is in a good place, but I would say that we have three running backs on this team that we're going to utilize as much as possible," Glenn said. "They're all big men, they can run, they're violent, they're physical.
