And then there were two.
With the contract for Arizona Cardinals unrestricted free-agent addition offensive lineman Jake Curhan now known, there are only two players from an active offseason whose numbers are not yet official: tight end Trey McBride and defensive lineman Calais Campbell.
Curhan signed a one-year deal worth $1.195 million that has no guaranteed money. In addition to a veteran minimum $1.17 million base salary for players with three credited seasons, Curhan also has a $25,000 offseason workout bonus. The Cardinals' offseason program begins on April 22.
Because it is considered a qualifying veteran contract, only $1.03 million of the base salary counts against the salary cap, making the total cap charge $1.055 million.
For the 17 signed players with published contract details (Curhan, Kelvin Beachum, Zay Jones, Royce Newman, Zay Jones, Simi Fehoko, Jacoby Brissett, Dalvin Tomlinson, Josh Sweat, Baron Browning, Mykal Walker, L.J. Collier, Evan Brown, Akeem Davis-Gaither, Joey Blount, Aaron Brewer and Travis Vokolek) plus the one-year restricted free-agent tender for Greg Dortch, the total cap hit this year for those players is $56.5 million.
