One of the Pittsburgh Steelers most significant roster needs at this point is running back. After Najee Harris left for the Los Angeles Chargers, it promoted Jaylen Warren to starting running back but we aren't sure Warren is the answer. But help could be on the way. According to reports, the New York Jets plan to use a three-headed running back attack in 2025 and this means running back Breece Hall could be on the trading block.
If the Jets decide to deal Hall during the 2025 NFL draft, Pittsburgh needs to be paying attention. Hall is heading into his fourth NFL season after being selected in the second round of the 2022 NFL draft. Hall has never been a full-time lead back in the league but this just means if he ends up on the Steelers, his 512 career carries give him fresh legs. Hall has a career average of 4.6 yards per carry, which is nearly a full yard per carry, which is better than Harris during his first four seasons.
