ESPN predicts a quarterback for the Steelers in the 1st round of NFL draft

It is less than a month to the 2025 NFL draft and the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to wait and see if quarterback Aaron Rodgers is going to sign with the Steelers, sign with another team or simply retire. If the situation drags on into the Summer, the Steelers will have to navigate the draft with an uncomfortable level of uncertainty.

If Rodgers isn't signed, this could mean the Steelers opt for a quarterback earlier than if Rodgers is under contract. According to ESPN Analytics, the player with the highest percentage chance of being picked by the Steelers is Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Dart is a fascinating prospect with a ton of upside. We've contended that Dart is everything the Steelers wanted with Kenny Pickett but Dart can actually deliver it. He is also the most starter-ready of the second tier of quarterbacks and the player we would be most confident in if forced into significant snaps as a rookie.
