In two days, Pat Kelsey added a pair of coveted guards, junior Ryan Conwell (Xavier) and freshman Adrian Wooley (Kennesaw State), alongside McDonald's All-American Mikel Brown Jr. in the Cardinals' 2025-26 backcourt. Could it be one of the country's best? Some have already started making the case.
Then, there's this: As of Wednesday morning, only one player from the 2024-25 roster had hit the market — junior guard Koren Johnson, who was sidelined for all but the first two games of the season due to a torn labrum. If indeed everyone else wants to run it back, Kelsey will be left with three scholarships to work with.
