The Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association will host the District 16 boys basketball all-star games Friday at Indian Hill High School.
The event will consist of 12 teams playing six shortened games, the first starting at 5:30 p.m. and the last at 9:15 p.m. More than 100 Southwest Ohio players will take part in the showcase. The players will play in their school jerseys.
Many of the top players from Southwest Ohio leagues will represent their teams. District 16 is primarily schools from Hamilton and Clermont counties. Schools from Butler, Warren and other northern counties are in District 15.
Among the teams represented are Division III state runner-up Aiken, Division II regional runner-up Winton Woods and Greater Miami Conference champion Princeton. Also, Miami Valley Christian Academy and Oyler, which are celebrating their first league titles, and Division V state semifinalist Summit Country Day.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages 7 and up.
All players are on squads named after NBA teams. Here is the schedule for each game and the rosters:
Celtics vs. Lakers, 5:30 p.m.
