With the 2025 NFL draft starting in less than three weeks, it should come as no surprise that the Tennessee Titans are starting to wrap up their pre-draft process.
Cameron Wolfe's report on NFL Insiders states that the Titans are in “step three of their three-step process” regarding their draft preparations.

This does echo some of the comments made by general manager Mike Borgonzi at the NFL Scouting Combine. Borgonzi has remained steadfast throughout this offseason, repeatedly stating that the Titans were going to take their time and be highly methodical with their decision-making.
Wolfe also mentioned that Cam Ward was still the most likely pick at No. 1, even alluding to the fact that owner Amy Adams Strunk attended a private workout held by the team days after his Pro Day. While this is somewhat unusual, it is not an unprecedented occurrence. Just days earlier, Cleveland Browns owner Jimmy Haslam attended their private workout in Miami with Ward as well.
As Wolfe points out, no final decision has been made on what they are going to do at No. 1. Tennessee will have a large contingent at the Colorado Pro Day to see both Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter, plus had a private workout scheduled with both for April 9. The team is also still receiving calls about a potential trade.
One team singled out for their potential interest is once again the New York Giants.
Rumors connecting the Giants to a possible trade up to the top spot have been swirling since before the combine and at one point appeared to be coming close to fruition. Even though the Giants have signed both Jameis Winston and Russell Wilson, there is still chatter and speculation that they remain interested in a potential move.
"There (are) still teams trying to knock on their door," Wolfe said. "One of those teams, the New York Giants, has been consistent throughout the process. I saw their general manager, Joe Schoen, talking with (Titans general manager Mike) Borgonzi at The Breakers at West Palm. Having one of those conversations that he had, again, at the (Miami) Pro Day."
Could this all be a giant smokescreen? Everyone will find out on April 24, when the commissioner opens the NFL draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
