Browns remain mysterious with the No. 2 overall pick ahead of 2025 NFL draft

Mysteries surrounding the Cleveland Browns and the 2025 NFL draft are clearing up weeks before the event.

The top of the NFL draft is starting to shake out as the Tennessee Titans have locked onto quarterback Cam Ward of Miami. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler broke down the latest reports on the first three picks of the draft.

Fowler confirmed the Titans are all in on Ward, barring a blockbuster trade for the top pick. Fowler said the draft gets interesting with the Browns because he thinks the Browns like to be mysterious. It’s a good read on general manager Andrew Berry, who is reserved to the point of coldness in his interviews. The Browns have spent a lot of time with Abdul Carter, Travis Hunter, and Shedeur Sanders. Fowler mentioned the Browns are also interested in Michigan defensive tackle Mason Graham.

The team has to make a big decision between a generational talent and a potential franchise quarterback. The Browns have seemed locked into the Heisman-winning receiver since Colorado’s pro day. However, the desire may be smoke and mirrors to work a trade. The Browns have a little over two weeks until the draft to work their magic.
