AJ Charpentier, Jacksonville, baseball
The junior pitcher fanned 10 batters, walked two and threw a one-hit shutout as the host Crimsons notched a 2-0 Central State Eight Conference win over Lincoln on Thursday.
Karsyn Jacoby, Athens, girls soccer
The senior reached 100 career goals and added an assist in a 5-0 win over Decatur Unity Christian on Thursday. She leads the Warriors (6-1) with 20 goals and seven assists already this season.
Briley Kirby, Hillsboro, softball
The sophomore hit the game-winning RBI single in the bottom of the seventh inning to give the Hiltoppers a 5-4 walk-off win against Taylorville on Tuesday. Kirby was 4-for-4.
Rylann Law, Chatham Glenwood, girls soccer
The senior recorded a hat trick in a 9-0 win over Mount Zion. Her 84 career goals set a new school record previously held by Alaree Gunville dating back to 2001.
Madisen Wurth, Lincoln, softball
The starting pitcher struck out 11, walked none and allowed just three hits in Lincoln’s 3-2 home victory over Jacksonville on Thursday.
