The Boston Celtics just did something they have never done before in the history of the storied franchise -- come away with an undefeated six-game road trip. It might seem odd to fans of the team, given all they have accomplished over the decades on their way to becoming the winningest team in the history of the NBA in terms of both titles and regular season wins.
But Boston's recent victories over the Utah Jazz, Portland Trail Blazers, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, San Antonio Spurs, and Memphis Grizzlies on the road represents a novel achievement for the organization in spite of all else they have managed to accomplish.
