Backup Boston Celtics shooting guard Baylor Scheierman is looking to earn playoff minutes this postseason. You may have been noticing more of the Creighton alum getting on the floor for the Celtics in recent games of Boston's stretch run push, his hustle, varied game and lethal 3-point shot helping Scheierman earn meaningful playing time with the Celtics after spending much of the current campaign up in Portland with the Maine Celtics at the G League level.
Cohost of the CLNS Media "Garden Report" podcast, Bobby Manning, recently had a chance to catch up with the Boston wing ahead of the Celtics road win over the Memphis Grizzlies to talk about his playoff aspirations and more.
Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about his increased role with Boston, and where he hopes it leads.
