With the spring here, it's time to run the diamond around Lebanon County.
Baseball and softball seasons are here, and there's new headlines everywhere. After eight Lebanon County teams made District 3 playoffs last year, some teams return heavy expectations while others are still navigating their newest lineups.
As the season gets going full speed, fans can decide who will be the area's best in play by the end of the year. 25 total athletes were nominated between local softball and baseball teams, and another round of voting will be done at the season's conclusion.
Both polls are now open, and will run from Tuesday, Apr. 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April. 6.
Want to nominate an athlete for the weekly polls? Email Zavier Gussett at zgussett@ldnews.com by noon Sunday. Include the athlete's name, sport and a little bit about their accomplishment.
