2025 NFL draft: Pro Football Focus makes 'fan favorite' mock for the New York Jets

Pro Football Focus dusted off their latest 2025 NFL draft mock but tossed aside their usual tactics.

The football analytics outlet did not dig into the fancy stats completely for this one. Instead, "fan favorite" selections were made in this projection.

The New York Jets enter this year's draft holding the No. 7 overall selection in Round 1. The team can go a variety of ways with it.

Some hope for a playmaker on offense to pair with No. 1 receiver Garrett Wilson. Instead, quarterback Justin Fields is helped in another way.

Despite selecting Olu Fashanu with their top pick at last year's draft, another tackle is taken. This time it's Armand Membo from Missouri.

While Fashanu is set to be at one tackle spot on the Jets' O-line, veterans Morgan Moses and Tyron Smith are both gone. That leaves a big hole, one that Membou would fill.

PFF's breakdown on Membou to the Jets can be found below:

Selecting an offensive tackle for the Jets makes complete sense if you look at their current roster. They paid Justin Fields solid money to make him a starter in 2025, and they don't currently have an answer at right tackle. Membou might be the most impressive tackle in this draft class (90.6 PFF overall grade in 2024), especially in a zone-blocking scheme, and the Jets need offensive line help.
