CLEVELAND — The Guardians will unveil another phase of their on-going "Progressive Field Reimagined" project on Tuesday for their home opener against the Chicago White Sox — if the weather plays along, of course.
For the second season in a row, the Guardians opened the regular season with an extended road trip to allow for a couple extra weeks of construction time to work on the renovations and ensure the park is ready for its opening day, although it could be a frosty atmosphere for baseball.
The team hosted local media to preview all of the changes for the 2025 season with a "What's New" event.
Here are the highlights.
Terrace Hall, North Coast Social
In terms of fan experience, the largest change involves the area down the left-field line that used to be known as the Terrace Club, a windowed section of seating.
The Terrace Hall is a "reimagined" beer hall connecting indoor and outdoor spaces. This area features the CLEVELAND bar globe light above the bar.
The North Coast Social offers semi-private, open-air Terrace Box seating that includes exclusive access to an indoor lounge and preferred parking. The area has more of a group-seating feel to it, and the seats themselves can be heated.
This section used to be involved in windows. The Terrace Garden rooftop patio opened a year ago, and the North Coast Social and Terrace Hall areas join it as renovated parts of the ballpark.
