An NCAA basketball star just made a teammate for life!
Lipscomb University women's basketball star, Jalyn Holcomb, thought she was at the Allen Arena in Nashville for an important interview about her team’s record-breaking season. Little did she know, it was all a setup by her boyfriend, Will Pruitt, who stars on Lipscomb's men's basketball team.
The arena was where they first met as college athletes, so it was the perfect venue for what Will had planned. As Jalyn stood center court, reading what she believed was a letter from her team, her boyfriend appeared. And, with both their families looking on in secret, he popped the question to his stunned girlfriend.
“Everything was just a whirlwind of emotions and confusion on how he could have pulled this off without me having any clue,” Jalyn said.
