This week's candidates are listed below:
Symphanie Browne, track and field, Northeast: Won the shot put at the Cobra Classic on March 29 with an attempt of 31 feet, seven inches. Also placed sixth in the long jump (15 feet, seven inches).
Anna Cheasty, softball, Clarksville Christian: Batted .750 with six RBIs, three runs, one double, one triple and one stolen base as the Centurions won all three of their games. Also pitched five innings, giving up no runs, two hits and striking out 13.
Kiara Conley, softball, Kirkwood: Had 12 hits in 15 at-bats on the week for an .800 batting average with two RBIs, 10 runs, three doubles and three stolen bases. Had three-hit games in wins over Pope John Paul on March 26, Stewart County on March 27 and Massac County (Illinois) on March 29.
Addie Fitzhugh, softball, Stewart County: Hit three home runs against Kirkwood and was 4-for-5 with two doubles, an RBI and two stolen bases in a 9-3 win at Clarksville Academy on March 24. Went 2-for-4 with a double, a stolen base and an RBI in a 6-2 win over Rossview on March 28.
Ella Harp, softball, Montgomery Central: Led Central to three wins in three games by batting .778 with a home run, nine RBIs, six runs and a double. Hit a go-ahead grand slam in a 10-7 win over Fairview on March 25.
Hailey Herron, Fort Campbell: Pitched a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 13-1 win at Caverna on March 29. Struck out 17 in a 20-14 win at West Creek on March 24. Batted .538 with three RBIs, six runs, two triples and three stolen bases on the week.
Julie Rollins, softball, Northeast: Drove in three runs and stole one base in a 13-3 over University Heights (Kentucky) on March 24. Went 2-for-3 with three RBIs in an 8-7 win over Fort Campbell on March 26.
Paityn Swift, softball, West Creek: Went 2-for-4 with a home run, a stolen base and four RBIs against Fort Campbell. Was 2-for-4 with an RBI, a double, a triple and two runs in a 17-8 loss to Northwest on March 27.
Addy Waller, softball, Rossview: Went 3-for-3 with an RBI single, a double and two runs in a 5-4 win at Logan County (Kentucky) on March 24. Batted .600 for the week.
Courtney Weyand, track and field, Kirkwood: Took first place in the long jump at the Cobra Classic with a distance of 17 feet, two inches. Ran a 12.87 in the 100-meter dash to place fifth.
Lauren Windham, softball, Clarksville: Went 4-for-8 with six RBIs, five runs, a double, a triple and seven stolen bases to help the Wildcats go undefeated in four games.
Ahmiah Yancy, softball, Northwest: Was 4-for-5 with a double, two RBIs, three runs, and two stolen bases against West Creek. Hit an RBI triple in a 16-0 win over Kenwood on March 25.
