The developments surrounding the UCLA throwing session between DK Metcalf and Aaron Rodgers continue to become clearer, as footage of the reported meeting between the four-time MVP and the Pittsburgh Steelers' newly acquired wide receiver has now surfaced.
In the video, Rodgers fakes a handoff to an imaginary running back, looks downfield, and hits Metcalf in stride with a tight spiral.
Despite pushback from the Black and Gold faithful, Rodgers connecting with Metcalf is a sight that everyone will seemingly need to grow accustomed to in a hurry.
Although insider Ian Rapoport acknowledged this was part of Rodgers' free agency process and not the conclusion, it definitely strengthens the odds that he will end up playing for the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2025.
Is Rodgers ultimately waiting for his best friend’s show, The Big Night AHT in Pittsburgh, to make the announcement? And if so, will more sightings between Steelers receivers and the former Super Bowl XLV MVP become increasingly more common?
