Apr. 2—➜ . Kobe Brent threw two innings of a no-hitter and Jack Bogema paced the Panthers' offense in a nonconference road win. Bogema went 2 for 4 with an inside-the-park home run and five RBI and Cole Wilson collected two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs. Tate Harden added two RBI for LeRoy (3-1).
➜ . Oakwood took an early 2-0 lead after the first inning, and that was all the offensive support Xander Wilson needed. Wilson scattered nine hits, struck out nine and did not issue a walk in throwing a complete game for the Comets (4-6) in the nonconference win. Wilson also helped himself out at the plate by going 2 for 4 with two runs scored. Jackson Dudley went 2 for 4 with two RBI and Brandt Hobick went 1 for 2 with two RBI as well. Tyler Cole paced PBL (4-4) by going 2 for 4 with a run scored, while Kayden Vance was 1 for 3 with an RBI.
➜ . The host Eagles never led and couldn't mount a comeback during a nonconference loss. Yovanny Solorzano went 2 for 3 to lead Rantoul (3-2), which trailed 1-0 after the first inning and 4-0 entering the bottom of the fourth before the Eagles scratched across their first run. Levi Duitsman (1 for 4) and Dalton Gernentz (1 for 3) each drove in a run for Rantoul.
➜ . Salt Fork trailed 4-3 entering the bottom of the fourth, but started the top of the fifth ahead 9-4 after plating six runs in that particular game-changing inning during a home nonconference win. Brayden Norton went 2 for 4 with two RBI for Salt Fork (4-1), while Jameson Remole went 1 for 3 with an RBI and two runs scored. Remole threw five innings on the mound, working around four walks, to strike out five and only give up three hits. Hayden Bates drove in three runs for STM (3-6).
➜ . A solid pitching performance by Evan Englehardt did not see him pick up the win as Tuscola couldn't muster a run in a Central Illinois Conference home loss. Engelhardt threw 6 1/3 innings for the Warriors (3-6) and only gave up four hits. He struck out eight and walked one, with both runs he allowed unearned. Tuscola only managed three hits, with Connor Musgrave having a double.
➜ . Tri-Valley tagged Illinois signee Ike Young for three runs in the top of the first inning and the host Sages could never break through en route to a nonconference loss. Young threw 5 1/3 innings for Monticello (6-2) and gave up those three runs on four hits, with two of the runs earned. He walked three and struck out eight. Monticello only recorded three hits, with Dawson Gaitros going 2 for 3.
➜ . Westville ended the game after only three innings thanks to a 14-run outburst in the top of the third en route to a convincing Vermilion Valley Conference victory. Easton Bolin led the charge for Westville (5-1) by going 3 for 3 with a home run, a triple, six RBI and four runs scored. Ben Johnson (3 for 4, four RBI), Easton Barney (2 for 3, two RBI, two runs scored), Cam Steinbaugh (1 for 2, RBI, three runs scored, two walks) and Matthew Darling (2 for 4, RBI, three runs scored) also stood out for the Tigers. Jream Renteria drove in the lone run for Cissna Park (0-4).

A scoreless game through three innings changed in the top of the fourth when Champaign Central scored eight runs and followed up that outburst with seven more runs in the top of the fifth to come away with a road nonconference win. Kaitlyn Helm hit two home runs and finished 3 for 4 with five RBI to help the Maroons (4-0) stay undefeated. Maisie Bowers also hit two home runs and was 3 for 4 with three RBI.
