Good morning, Winners! That means good morning to everyone but the Atlanta Braves, who are the only team in baseball that has not won a single game yet.
The Braves were so close on Wednesday. It looked like Atlanta had the Dodgers (of all teams!) dead to rights. Then Max Muncy ditched his torpedo bat and Shohei Ohtani did this:

"And the heartache has hit a new level for the Atlanta Braves." What a call from Braves announcer Brandon Gaudin. That's the saddest call I've heard so far this season. Yet, it also might be the most accurate.
This is one of the saddest starts to a season in recent memory. The Braves just can't find their way. Injuries have decimated the team. Ronald Acuña hasn't played a game yet. The vibes haven't been this low in Atlanta since Outkast broke up.
But, Braves fans, look on the bright side. It's a long season! In fact, there are 155 games left to course correct. And it's not like the rest of the NL East has already pulled away. The division looks pretty meh so far, except the Phillies, who look great, and the Nationals, who look blegh. Plus, thankfully, every team doesn't have Shohei Ohtani.
It'll turn around eventually, Braves fans. Don't pull out the paper bags to cover your faces just yet.
Alex Ovechkin could make some really weird history
Alex Ovechkin is just three goals away from breaking Wayne Gretzky's all-time goals record in the NHL. When (not if!) he makes that history, there's a chance he could do it in a really spooky way.
