Chelsea are interested in signing Real Madrid’s Brazilian attacker Endrick this summer according to reports in Spain.
The Blues have heavily targeted the South American market under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Captial ownership, signing a number of the continents top talents.
Chelsea have Andrey Santos returning from a brilliant loan spell at Santos, whilst arguably two of South America’s biggest talents in Estevao Willian and Kendry Paez will arrive this summer.
Chelsea target Endrick move
The Blues view Estevao as a generational talent, and moved quickly to sign him after missing out on his former Palmeiras team-mate Endrick to Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Endrick, who has seven caps for Brazil has scored seven goals in 29 appearances in all competitions for the Spanish giants this season, but has been linked with a move away from the club.
Fichajes have reported Chelsea have in fact had a €70m offer rejected for the 18-year-old, with the Blues said to believe the Brazil international has the potential to lead the line at Stamford Bridge.
The report adds Real Madrid were emphatic in their response with the teenager not for sale despite his limited minutes this season.
Endrick is only in his first season at Madrid and given the players he’s competing with it’s understandable why he’s seen limited action this campaign.
However, a move to Chelsea seems farfetched and despite his talent it appears Chelsea have missed the boat for Endrick at this point in time.
