Texas A&M baseball will be out to score its second SEC series win of the season when it hosts South Carolina in the middle game of a three-game set on Friday night.
The Aggies secured a memorable Thursday night victory to open the series, beating the Gamecocks 8-7 thanks to Caden Sorrell's walk-off homer in the bottom of the 10th inning.
Looking to lock down the series victory on Friday, Texas A&M (18-15, 4-9 SEC) is expected to hand the ball to lefthander Justin Lamkin. The junior was outstanding in a win over Tennessee last week, allowing two earned runs across six innings of work.
He'll be opposed by South Carolina (20-15, 2-11) lefty Matthew Becker, who gave up one earned run across 4⅔ innings last week against Mississippi State.
