Tennessee Titans still have 5 notable needs that must be addressed this offseason
The 2025 free agency period opened on March 12 at 4:00 p.m. EDT. The legal tampering window opened two days prior, and for the first few days of free agency, all 32 NFL teams were busy signing the pieces they think will address whatever need they have.
The Tennessee Titans are no different, acquiring several offensive linemen and some defensive depth, but there's still work to be done.
Recently, NFL.com released a list of each team's biggest remaining needs after the initial wave of free agency. The Titans' needs aren't surprising.
Biggest needs: QB, Edge, WR, LB, SAs the Titans’ search for a franchise quarterback continues, the hunt to find a long-term replacement for Harold Landry off the edge is just beginning. Whoever ends up playing QB for Tennessee would benefit from enhanced weaponry at wide receiver.
The Titans still need some key pieces before the start of the 2025 season. Their initial free agency activity solidified the offensive line but didn't do much beyond that. Van Jefferson isn't a WR2, although he is talented enough to make an impact at WR3. Depth at linebacker and in the secondary has to be a big priority, especially after losing Harold Landry and Kenneth Murray Jr.
Mike Borgonzi, Chad Brinker, and Brian Callahan have a ton of work left to do this offseason, and finding a quarterback has to be the top priority. As of right now, no one thinks they've done enough to perform better in 2025 than they did in 2024, and that's a problem.
