Michigan State football is one of the first schools to show significant interest in an edge rusher from Illinois in the 2028 class.
Darieon Prescott of Bolingbrook, Ill. announced on Saturday that he's received an offer from the Spartans. Prescott made the offer from the Spartans be known to the public by posting on his social media X account.
Prescott is an edge rusher in the 2028 class and plays for Bolingbrook High. He is listed at 6-foot-6 and 220 pounds, according to 247Sports.
Prescott is not yet ranked but that is more likely due to being in the 2028 class -- which is still very early in the recruiting process at this time. He also holds scholarships from Illinois, Indiana and Vanderbilt.
