The WNBA star snapped a selfie with tennis legend Serena Williams on Monday, March 31, as the two athletes appeared on a panel at the NFL’s Annual Meeting in Palm Beach, Fla.
Clark, 23, and Williams, 43, joined Eli Manning for a panel called “The Changing Face of Sports and Its Impact on the NFL,” according to the tennis great’s Instagram post.
Williams shared several photos of herself and Clark, both wearing red outfits, showing them speaking on the panel and posing for pictures with Manning, 44.
“Yesterday was a blur and all about the future of women at the annual [NFL] Annual Meeting,” Williams wrote, tagging Clark and Manning. “I love [the] future of women don’t you?”
Clark responded to the post with a goat emoji, as well as a fire and pink double heart emoji – a nod of respect to the 23-time major tennis champion. The meeting between Clark and Williams also came one day after the WNBA star’s rookie cards broke a record initially set by Williams for the most expensive women’s sports card ever sold at auction ($366,000).
